March 8, 2020- WEEKEND NEWS

Livingstone Youth FA 0 – 1 Blue Arrows

Livingstone Youth & Blue Arrows before the game.

Sundays result meant Livingstone Youth suffered another disappointment in their encounter with the Blue Arrows at Mulwani School Grounds.

Our previous encounter with the arrows left us at a draw, in which Arrows promised to redeem themselves and surely the Arrows delivered on their promise to redeem their team against us. Their chance at redemption came on Sunday, during our usual sunday afternoon games at Mulwani, leaving us at a disappointing 0 – 1 against the Arrows.

We played our level best. But sadly our determination, commitment, cooperation and drive to achieve was not enough against our rivals as their player Cliff Kanyoka was ready to prove himself. he scored the goal that set the Arrows victory in the 41′ of the second half. In turn putting more pressure on us to achieve a better outcome.

Cliff Kanyoka celebrates his goal.

It definitely was a Sunday to remember, that a loss is another chance to do better next time. While it was not the outcome hoped for, we congratulate the boys on their perseverance to and performance. Maybe our next game holds better for us.
