LIVINGSTONE YOUTH’S LOSE AGAINST THE LANDLORDS.

Livingstone Pirates 2 – 0 Livingstone Youth FA

Pre-game interaction.

Pirates disturb our count to six matches undefeated since our game against Zesco Vicfalls.

Lawrence in action.

Goals from the pirates after half time effected in a loss for us on Sunday 23 February as we incurred a 2 – 0 loss against the Livingstone Pirates. The hosts who are known as the Landlords because of their dominance in the division one league and their history are indeed a team to beat. But sadly after five weeks our undefeated streak has come to an end.

Our Goalkeeper in the center.

Our Goalkeeper Andrew was quiet something and so was his ability to handle the shots sent his way. He managed to disarm all shots on target sent by the pirates. Despite the great efforts taken by our Goalkeeper the landlords were still able to sneak the two goals, resulting in the disappointing 2 – 0 incurred.

Team Doctor with Team Captain.

We were definitely not ready for the change in the line up in the 60′, as one of the pirates subs got into the match as midfielder hence strengthening their center. it was a commendable move. One that we hope to be ready to overcome next time.

All in all the game was indeed a fight fought well. Livingstone Youth Coach Serge Mumba said that while the boys performed well and gave it their best , they still lack endurance and that is something to look into.

Maybe next time the odds will not be against us.
