Sporting opportunities for young people in Zambia are hard to come across and so annually, school pupils compete at district levels for a chance to qualify and be picked to represent their respective provinces at the annual Provincial ball games.

This year, 8 of LYFA’s football girls were picked to represent Southern Province against the other 9 provinces of Zambia in this years Provincial competition in Chipata Eastern Province.

The academy is proud that girls we returned to school and sponsored have been selected to take part in the competition and represent Southern Province. This is a wonderful opportunity to further themselves in both sport and education.
