The Livingstone Youth Football Academy in a bid to beef up its capacity to continuously provide quality services to the growing number of youths joining the academy has brought in some additions to the coaching staff.
Cholwe Ngosa has been brought in as the new assistant coach for the senior boys team that has just been promoted to play in Southern Province FAZ Division I league that is set to kick off in August. He starts work immediately and is already getting to know the players. This will greatly increase the efficiency and outreach to individual players as we strive to develop players individually and as a team.
The LYFA has also given opportunities to two senior boys team players who have been re initiated into the academy, but as coaches. Lastone Bwalya and Starford Manda have been named coach and their journey with the LYFA continues as they help us and our community achieve more. Bwalya has been named Goal-Keeper trainer after playing as a goal keeper himself for the academy. Starford is now the academy coach after playing as a brilliant forward.
The two newly named coaches have been actively participating in the Tackle Africa training and showed impressive leadership skills and commitment to the cause.
